12.10.2012 Armenia. The courage school

The Armenia post repeatedly this year represents a postage block devoted to the Armenian athletes - Winners of the Olympic Games. Website “UkraFil” reported about the previous postage issue in news of June 23, 2012.
On November 30, 2012 the state enterprise of post service "Haypost" issued a block of 4 values with image of the Olympic champions from Armenia: Grachya Petikyan, Israil Militosyan, Mnatsakan Eskandarian and Armen Nazaryan.

Grachya Petikyan on Olympic Games in Barcelona of 1992 represented Armenia as a part of the integrated CIS team. In firing competitions from a rifle from 50 meters he won a gold medal, having established the Olympic record.
Israil Militosyan supported a national team of the USSR and the CIS on weightlifting. He was the champion of Olympic Games of Barcelona in lightweight, the silver prize-winner of the Olympic Games in Seoul 1988.
Mnatsakan Eskandarian is fighter of the Greek-Roman style, the Olympic champion of Barcelona 1992 as a part of the national team of the CIS. He was the participant of the Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996 in a line-up of the Russian Federation.
Armen Nazaryan is the Greco-Roman wrestling - the double Olympic champion of Atlanta 1996 and Sydney 2000, the bronze prize-winner of the Olympic Games in Athens 2004. The first and while the only Armenian athlete who has become the Olympic champion after Armenia has an opportunity to delegate on Olympic Games separate team under the own flag.
