04.29.2013 Azerbaijan. The dancers

On April 24, 2013 the enterprise of post service "Azermarka" together with the Ministry of Communications and informatizations of Republic of Belarus issued a postage block of 2 values "National Dances". The joint issue represents the azerbaijani dance "Terekeme" and the belarusian dance "Kryzhachok". Website UkraFil informed about the "Belpochta" issue in news of April 20, 2013.

Paper: chalky. Printing: offset.
Perforation: comb. 13 1/2.
Size of stamps in Block: 37х52 mm.
Size of Block: 117х84 mm.
Edition: 10.000 copies

The Azerbaijani national dance "Terekeme" is a dance of nomads cattle-farmers. Was born in the tribe terekeme. It is usually executed on national holidays. One of the main musical instruments used at dance execution – zurna - a wooden wind instrument with a double cane.
