11, 2012 the Kazakhstan
post issued a postage stamp devoted to the 100 birth anniversary of scientist, historian,
geographer, author of the well-known theory of "passionarity" Lev Gumilev
(1912-1992).
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 10
values with decorating margins. Artist: N. Sokolov. Printing - offset in
4 colors. Perforation frame. Size of stamp: 28 x 40 mm. Edition: 30 000

theory of "passionarity" scientifically explains the deepest
communications of characters, customs and culture of the people with
landscapes. In the works, investigating history of the main ethnoses of Eurasia – Mongols, Turks, Huns Lev Gumilev shows that
huge influence which these people on a level with Byzantines rendered on
psychology and culture of Russian and other Slavic people.
