The popular russian saying ascending the sources by times of
Ancient Russia: "You can get anywhere if you know how to use your
tongue". Its analog in French and Italian languages are: «Qui langue a, à
Rome va», «Chi lingua ha, Roma va» (Having tongue will reach Rome). In
Chinese the saying sounds as: 誰擁有語言 , 來北京 (Who knows
language, that will reach Beijing). Whether there is a similar analog in the
Kirghiz language the manager of the philatelic website “UkraFil” certainly not
known.
The scientists-archeologists find the numerous monuments of
the runic letter which have remained since the VII century AD – the period of
existence ancient Turk and Kirghiz states about one and a half hundred such
inscriptions today are known, some of which are found in Talass area of
Kirgizstan.
On November 3, 2012 the Kyrgyzstan post introduced into
circulation a set of 2 values in pair devoted to the ancient Kyrkyzs writing of
the VII-IX centuries. The issue is printed in mini sheet of 3 sets with artly
decorating margins in perforated and imperforated versions. Edition of
perforated stamps - 3000 copies (1000 sheetlets), edition of imperforated stamps
- 750 sets (250 sheets).
The french saying "Avec le florin, langue et latin Par tout
l'univers on trouve le chemin". in modern Kirghiz interpretation looks
approximately so: "Who has Soms and speaks in Kirghiz, that will find the
road in the Universe".
