On September 13, 2013 in Bishkek opens a summit of the states of
the Shanghai organization of cooperation. Meeting with the President of
Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir
Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Uzbekistan Islam
Karimov, the President Xi Jinping and Kyrgyz President Atambayev will last
several days. The event was attended also by representatives of SCO observer
countries of Afghanistan, India, Iran, Mongolia, Pakistan, as well as dialogue
partners Belarus, Turkey and Sri Lanka. 
In the summit opening day, on September 13, 2013, the
Kyrgyzstan post introduced into circulation a memorable postage issue – mini sheet
of 6 values with the image of the State Emblems of member states of the
Shanghai Organization of Cooperation (SCO). The issue is published in perforated and imperforated versions.
