At the civilization beginning the mountain Sulaiman-Tooh had
cult value. According to the legend Zarathustra lived in one of its caves and
well-known "Avesta" was written exactly here. A legend says once at
mountain top prayed the prophet Sulaiman. On a stone plate for ever there were
traces from his knees and forehead. On June 22, 2013 the Kyrgyzstan post plans to introduce into
circulation a postage stamp devoted to the unique object of the UNESCO cultural
heritage to the sacred mountain Sulaiman-Tooh ("Solomon’s Throne") - the
most ancient monument of the Kyrgyz history and culture, a source of spiritual
clarification of the people.
