On January 11, 2013 the Latvia post issued a new
continuation of definitive stamps. A set of 3 values represents the coat of
arms of the Latvian regional city Varakļāni the first mention about which
belongs to 1226. And also two districts: Strenču and Vārkavas regions formed within
administativno-territorial reform of Latvia in 2009.
