On February 15, 2013 the cycle "Modern Architecture of
Latvia" is continued by the next Latvian postage stamp devoted to the theater
Dayles. A new building of theater constructed by architects M. Stanya and
T. Iyevinya with the assistance of architects I.Yakobsons and H.Kanders was
erected ten years. The solemn opening and the first performance took place on
November 30, 1977.
The issue is printed in mini sheet of 10
values. Artist: Ģirts Grīva Edition: 30 000 copies. Printed by the State

Theater Dayles is the professional Latvian theater founded
in 1920 in
Riga. After 1940 it began to be called the Art Academic theater Jan Raynis.
