In the night of February 10, 2013 the world will meet New
Year on east calendar which else call the Chinese New Year. The informal name
of a holiday is Lunar New Year. In China this day designate the Holiday of
spring. New Year on the Chinese calendar comes annually in the first
new moon which follows upon completion of a full lunar cycle after the Winter
solstice. That is, can be any day in an interval between January 21 and
on February 21. The starting of celebration it begins from the first day of the
year and finish for the 15th day.
On February 9, 2013 the Lithuania post marks for the first
time an approach of New Year on the Chinese calendar by a postage issue
devoted to Year of the Snake.
