Since July 1 and until the end 2013 will last the Lithuania presidency
in the European Union. The presiding country is obliged to head and direct the
working groups in which representatives of all countries discuss the vital
issues of the European community. On June 15, 2013,
in two weeks prior to the entry of the Republic of
Lithuania in a rank presiding in EU, the Lithuanian post issued a postage value
devoted to this significant foreign policy event. On stamp are represented the national
flags of member countries of the European Union.
