01.25.2013 Russia. The horns and the legs

On January 30, 2013 the russian post throughout the series "Fauna of Russia" introduces into circulation a set of 4 values "Wild Goats and Rams" On stamps are represented a snow ram, an arkhar (a wild ram), a goat and the Caucasian round.

The stamps are printed in type of block of four in mini sheet of 4 sets without decorating margins.
Design: А. Моskovets.
Size of stamp: 37х37 mm.
Edition: 200 000 copies (50 000 sheetlets).

The wild goats and rams are the typical mountain animals. They are keeping on the mountain slopes covered by grass, meeting on the low ridges located in steppe and semidesertic areas. In the summer they are grazed at big height, in the winter remove on less high slopes. They live in the small herds and the old keep one by one, and in the winter get in large herds of more than a hundred heads.
