On August 24, 2012 in the historical and cultural reserve
Sofia Kiev were declared the results of a national competition "7 miracles
of Ukraine: buildings, fortresses, palaces". The organizing
committee chose seven most significant historical objects, located in the
territory of modern Ukraine: Hotin fortress in Chernovtsy area, Ackerman
fortress in the city of Belgorod-Dniester of Odessa region, the Metropolitan
palace in Chernovtsy, Alupka Palace of Vorontsov in the Crimea, the Lutsk Top
palace in the Volyn area, Kamenets-Podolsky fortress in Hmelnitsky area and the
palace in Kachanovka village of the Chernigov area.

Tomorrow, on November 29, 2012, at the Kiev main post office
will take place the presentation of the second issue of cycle "Seven
Miracles of Ukraine" - a postage block of 7 values with image of the competition winners - objects of a historical and cultural heritage. About the first postage issue and results of the last year's
competition "7 miracles of Ukraine" the website Ukrafil reported in
news of December 15, 2011. By the way, besides winners special awards of jury of
competition noted some more objects: Chigirinsky fortress, Palace of Cyril
Razumovsky in Baturin, the Olesky palace in Lviv and the Bakhchsarai palace in
the Crimea. Probably, in the near future they also will be presented on signs
of payment of the Ukrainian post.
